Remembering a Friend of Mithuruwela … the late Dr Henry Jayasena on his 79th Birth Anniversary

Dr Henry Jayasena inspired us with his outlook, attitude and the manner in which he coped with his illness. He believed that cancer is an enemy, and those who have enemies should first identify them and then fight them to be free of them. He extended his fullest support and encouragement towards our efforts to provide emotional support to cancer patients and their caregivers.
A DVD containing a 20 minute interview with Dr Henry Jayasena was produced by Mithuruwela in collaboration with the Open University of Sri Lanka with funding from the Corporate Social Responsibility Trust of Commercial Bank of Ceylon. The DVD which is in Sinhala has also been translated to Tamil.
