Getting the right information and learning about your particular cancer is key to beating this disease. You will need to be cautious about accessing good quality web sites of reputable organizations. The following have been found to be useful – but there may be more out there!

1. The Mayo Clinic, USA - each kind of cancer can be keyed in and will take you to specific issues in detailing the disease & its symptoms, treatment, and care.

Mithuruwela provides leaflets, media articles and online resources to bring greater awareness and understanding of cancer, it’s causes, prevention and treatment regimes to people living with cancer, their family, friends and caregivers.

We are currently looking to create a network of volunteers committed to the aims of the organization.

We welcome any donation in resources or time that you can give for creating and designing appropriate literature and information in Sinhala, Tamil or English. Your donations will go towards activities that would help cancer patients, in particular the disadvantaged and the marginalized.
